Role: SAP Yard Logistics / SD Functional Consultant

We’re searching for a capable SAP Yard Logistics / SD Functional Consultant with a strong technical background to join our team and drive seamless deliverables. If you have a passion on and the expertise to shape high-impact projects, we’d love to connect with you!

Job Requirements

• Experience: 6–12 years of experience in SAP Logistics with at least 1-2 full-cycle implementations, specifically in S/4HANA.
• Module Knowledge: Strong knowledge of SAP SD (Order-to-Cash), LE (Logistics Execution), and EWM.
• Specialized Expertise: Hands-on configuration experience with SAP Yard Logistics (digitalizing transport, berth scheduling, IoT/RFID integration).
• Technical Acumen: Ability to create technical and functional specs, understand IDocs, EDI, and basic ABAP debugging.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Good to Have Skills

• SAP Certification in S/4HANA Supply Chain or Transportation.
• Experience with SAP Fiori applications and RF (Radio Frequency) scanners.
• Experience in Automotive or Manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Configuration: Analyze, design, and configure SAP YL and SD solutions, including yard layout management (gates, docks), vehicle/trailer management, and check-in/check-out processes.
• Integration Expert: Ensure seamless integration between SAP Yard Logistics and SAP TM (Transportation Management), EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), and SD (Sales & Distribution) modules.
• Business Process Mapping: Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements, conducting Gap Analysis, and mapping client needs to standard SAP best practices.
• Functional Specifications (RICEFW): Write detailed functional specifications for custom developments (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) to bridge gaps in standard SAP.
• Testing & Implementation: Perform unit testing, integration testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for end-to-end Yard Logistics processes.
• Support & Maintenance: Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting for production issues related to logistics execution and yard management.
