Role Description

This full-time on-site role, based in Porsgrunn/Skien, is for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Safelink. The role involves leading mechanical design projects, developing innovative product solutions, performing detailed hydraulic and mechanical designs, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for solution development. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, reviewing design specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry / DNV standards for safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with a relevant portfolio
• Experience in Machine Design and hydraulics
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the offshore or marine industry is a plus
• experience with maintenance efficient design
• Ability to work on-site in Porsgrunn/Skien
