Reports to : Head of Field Sales

The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities, while proactively managing a pipeline of prospects. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain solid relationships with potential customers. The role will also be supporting the organization’s cross-border sales strategy by managing opportunities across all markets in which the Selskap operates, with a primary focus on the Norwegian market.

Additionally, the Sales Executive will be responsible for managing a selection of existing customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and generate Leads: Identify and target potential new customers through research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Sales Outreach: Conduct outbound calls, emails, and meetings to engage with potential clients and present our offerings.
  • Qualify Prospects: Assess potential customers' needs, budget, and decision-making processes to determine the best solutions.
  • Close Deals: Lead negotiations, handle objections, and finalize contracts to convert prospects into paying customers.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, prospects, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales colleagues and other internal teams to optimize lead generation efforts and improve the sales process for a high win rate.
  • Achieve Targets: Meet and exceed sales quotas and performance metrics as set by management.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with new customers to ensure satisfaction and potential upsell opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role within the IT Industry
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and convert leads into sales.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and proactive in achieving sales targets.
  • Strong network within the IT industry.
  • Fluent in English and Norwegian
